- Collects, analyzes, and oversees data entry on relevant quality performance indicators.
- Monitors and evaluates appropriateness of facility quality control plans and practices.
- Designs, schedules and conducts quality review audits as appropriate to the facility or service; performs or coordinates site audits or abstracts specific relevant data as appropriate.
- Generates and/or coordinates the development of various reports regarding performance against quality indicators, as appropriate to the individual RadNet facility.
- Participates in the planning, development, coordination, and presentation of specific training, meetings and educational programs as appropriate to the quality assurance needs of the facility or service.
- Collaborates and consults with other associated facilities regarding current quality control issues and activities.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Use of good communication skills in both written and oral form; computer, and program development skills.
- Relay information regarding questions or issues beyond authority to director which could impact the service that we provide or the smooth operation of the centers, or impact company liability.
- Assist director as needed with special assignments and special projects.
- Prepare and submit all reports required by the Director of Quality Assurance.
- Must be willing to travel to some Southern California and/or Arizona sites
- Three to five years of quality assurance experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities in radiology centers.
- Requires a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred).
- Previous Radiologic Technologist experience, a college degree within diagnostic imaging (i.e. ultrasound, radiology, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, etc), or previous radiology management experience within a radiology center.
- Ability to relate to the public in a professional and courteous manner; understanding the objectives of the organization.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and appropriate fashion.
- Possesses and utilizes excellent customer service skills, strong written and verbal communications skills, and other medical related skills/knowledge.
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to interact effectively with doctors, patients, vendors, peers, staff and management.

Come Join our Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Department as a Regional Quality Assurance Specialist. With guidance and general direction the Regional QA Specialist will supervise, coordinate the collection, evaluation, and dissemination of quarterly performance data relative to specified quality and safety programs within all regional assigned RadNet Centers. Maintain documents and records specified data according to QA department, accreditation programs, safety and State and Federal health care standards. Participates in the planning of technical and professional education programs, policies, and procedures and presents specific training as required.
