  • You work in the assembly and maintenance of complex machines and systems.
  • Your tasks include, among others, construction, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical/electronic systems.
  • As an electrical specialist, you act in accordance with accident prevention regulations and observe relevant regulations and safety provisions. You can be deployed broadly and across industries.
  • At BERLIN-CHEMIE, you work primarily as a setter in various production departments. The focus here is on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, as well as setting up and converting our modern production facilities.
Your education
  • The training usually lasts 3.5 years with regular alternation between theory and practice, one week at school and two weeks in the company.
  • The theoretical part takes place at the vocational school at the TIEM upper level center, and the practical part in our production departments and central technology.
  • The first 1.5 years take place at an inter-company training center (ABB training center), where you will receive a solid practical technical basic education.

  • You have at least a middle school diploma or high school diploma.
  • You have good grades in math and physics.
