    Job DescriptionSalary:
    $31/Hr

    The Junior or Senior Mechanic will work in a Collision Repair environment. We do not do engine rebuilds and similar tasks.

    We are need of a knowledgable tech that can diagnose simple problems, remove and replace old parts with new and do minor service duties on trucks and equipment.

    The Junior or Senior Tech will have to rely on their Department Lead and fellow teammates for feedback, training and support, take online training, do hands-on technical training as well as prepare for various tests and certifications.

    Previous certifications are encouraged, but not necessary. To be successful in this position, the team member should display a motivation towards detailed results. Safety is a priority. This team member will be committed to working according to our safety standards while operating at an efficient pace. This is not an apprentice position.


    Junior/Senior Collision Technician Responsibilities:
    Work well in a team environment with a "ready to learn and teach" attitude
    Know when and how to use the proper materials and tools
    Know the proper techniques in service operations such as brakes, suspension, onboard computers, engines, transmissions, electrical etc.
    Occasional Service and Lube duties
    Welding and fabrication is not required but is a plus

    Autobody/Collision Repair experience is a plus

    At least Five (5) years of prior experience working on heavy duty trucks and/or equipment
    Must have own tools and a valid driver's license
    Strong knowledge and skills in heavy equipment/vehicle repair and/or preventive maintenance.
    Must be skillful in inspecting and repairing equipment

    Ability to work in a team environment.
    Ability to demonstrate safe work habits and work well with others.
    Ability to train or direct the work of others.
    Available to work overtime as needed
