    Description

    This position aims to provide leadership and direction to a team of engineers in developing efficient, secure, scalable, and dependable technology solutions to drive CMEG forward in the global market and cater to customers' risk management requirements.



    Key Responsibilities:
    • Emphasizes Architecture and Solution efficiencies, balancing performance, capacity, and reliability with core system functionality.
    • Advocates for optimized application modules and unit tests, with a deep understanding of low-level design integration.
    • Utilizes design tools to effectively communicate ideas on larger systems and conducts in-depth system examination using low-level tools.
    • Harnesses knowledge of modern multi-processor architecture to optimize applications for high throughput and low latency.
    • Promotes pattern usage for enhanced efficiency, best practices, and process improvements.
    • Establishes key metrics for optimizing code performance.
    • Drives code reviews discussions, focusing on best practices and code quality optimization while addressing potential issues proactively.
    • Leads projects and collaborates with stakeholders across the Division.

    Skills & Software Requirements:
    • Proficiency in evaluating algorithms and data structures within given constraints.
    • Expertise in Multi-threading, concurrent data structures, networking protocols, and code profiling tools.
    • Understanding of queue theory, redundancy, fault tolerance techniques, and JVM internals.
    • Familiarity with modern technologies like Terraform, cloud platforms, and EF_VI, JNI, On-load Solar Flare extension APIs.
    • Knowledge of thread pinning, interrupts, and TLB Caches will be advantageous.
