Veteran Firm Seeking a Java Web Services Developer for an Onsite Assignment in Washington, DC

Have at least 6 years of experience in project management and Agile/Scrum environments.
Possess 4+ years of expertise in Java Spring Boot Framework and 1+ years in Mobile App Development.
Demonstrate knowledge of ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS.

Executive Summary: We need a Java Web Services Developer to support our team in maintaining a telecommunication-based Operational Support System.

Position Duties:

Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Develop and maintain Java and Spring-based web services.
Collaborate with Customers to identify problems and required features.
Establish efficient workflows for new features.
Participate in daily stand-up meetings and full life cycle Scrum deployments.
Create tasks as the sole Web Service developer on the team.

Position Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot Framework, and Restful Web Services.
Experience with Relational Database Management Systems and version Control frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Research and adapt to new solutions quickly.

Position Responsibilities:

Manage IT project activities and engineering.
Develop technical applications and maintain system standards.
Provide training and perform application upgrades.
Monitor databases and troubleshoot problems.
Ensure project compliance with standards.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements: Associate's degree in IT or related field.

The salary for this role ranges from $73,000 to $78,000 annually.
