TITLE: Web Services Developer
LOCATION: Washington, DC/ Onsite
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in IT, related field, or equivalent experience.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 6 years
INTERVIEWS: Webcam Only

Job Description:
The company is in need of a Web Services Developer to assist a team in maintaining a telecommunication-based Operational Support System.
Complete Description:
The responsibilities of the Web Services Developer include proficiency in Agile / Scrum work settings such as Keeping Java and Spring-based services up-to-date; Meeting with Clients to identify issues and characteristics; Collaborating with Clients to set up desired efficient processes for any new features; managing User Stories, Bugs related to your assignments and testing those that are not; joining in daily stand-up meetings; taking part in full life cycle Scrum deployments; creating tasks independently as the main Web Service developer on our team.

Skills:
Java Spring Boot Framework. 4 Years Required
Java Spring Framework: Security, MVC, JDBC, JPA. 3 Years Required
Java Lambda Expressions, Collections, Streams. 2 Years Required
Version Control Systems (GIT). 3 Years Required
Java Test Frameworks (Junit). 2 Years Required
Relational DB System (ie MySQL, Postgres, etc.). 2 Years Required
Java Logging Frameworks (e.g. Log4J). 1 Year Required
Experience with Cloud Computing Using AWS. 2 Years Required
Continuous Integration Tools (e.g. Jenkins). 2 Years Required
Experience with Agile/Scrum environment. 6 Years Required
Mobile App Development. 1 Year Required
Understanding of ReactJS, HTML5, CSS. 1 Year Required
Planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities. 6 Years Required
Leading projects, ensuring they comply with established standards/procedures. 6 Years Required
Associates degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience. Mandatory
Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience. Highly Desirable
