    AboutCleanChoice Energy, a national renewable energy company that empowers people and businesses to cut emissions and live cleaner, healthier lives, is seeking a DevOps Lead to join the Engineering department.

    Job DescriptionThis role will be focused on developing, evolving, and supporting the cloud infrastructure and security needs of our organization.

    We are looking for someone who has demonstrated strong skills and experience in managing cloud infrastructure as well as the ability to be a trusted partner to technical and non-technical audiences, both inside the organization and with our external partners.

    In this role, you will be responsible for being the technical lead for our cloud infrastructure team as well as building and maintaining new patterns as our infrastructure needs evolve.

    The ideal candidate must have experience in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems as well as experience leading DevOps engineers. This person will report to the VP of Engineering and will not have direct reports.

    ResponsibilitiesManage AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure operationsLead a small team of DevOps Engineers to ensure coverage for project work and ongoing support and maintenance needsBe the technical lead for new infrastructure patterns and modifications to existing project workMaintain and ensure adaptation of InfoSec policies and monitoring within our cloud hosted environmentsDrive increased observability, dashboarding, and supporting metricsExpand and standardize CI/CD patterns across internal Engineering TeamsMaintain access controls to our cloud hosted environments and toolsHelp manage overall spend of infrastructure and third party technology toolsManage team coverage for on-call and emergency infrastructure needs

    Qualifications and Skills5+ of years of experienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable industry experienceExperience in AWS Infrastructure products such as IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, RDSStrong networking and cloud security understanding and experienceExperience functioning as a Team or Project Lead in DevOps ( official HR leadership experience not required )IOT / SCADA experience a plusAWS and Cloud Infrastructure certifications are a plus

    Travel90% Remote10% Approximate quarterly travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota or Washington, DC for workshops, off-sites, etc.
