- Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and CAD designs to create and modify tools and dies.
- Operate and maintain manual and CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM machines.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on tools and dies to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with tools and dies to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop innovative solutions and improve manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including measurements, tolerances, and materials used.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- Minimum of (X) years of experience as a Tool and Die Machinist in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment.
- Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of metal properties, machining techniques, and tool design.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
