As a CNC Machinist you will:
Operate a cell to include set ups, understanding of programming and lay out of jobs.
Initiate program adjustments from engineering.
Perform general maintenance, cleaning and organization of equipment and tooling.
Demonstrate the ability to perform general troubleshooting of CNC machines and tooling.
Read and interpret blueprints, work order instructions, and operate required tools involved in role.
Maintain tolerances to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to ensure the success of the department and the company.
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure the functionality.
Requirements:
Required qualifications for a CNC Machinist:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have strong mechanical ability to be a successful CNC Machinist
Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy
Must demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision and communicate with coworkers, manager and other departments
Maintain poise and respond in a professional and respectful manner to all situations
