We currently operate around 100 facilities nationwide with a total of approximately 2,000 employees, providing care, accommodation, and support for asylum seekers and homeless individuals.

Job Description

To expand our team at our reception center in 01067 Dresden, we are currently seeking several social workers (m/f/d), preferably in full-time positions.

Are you communicative, reliable, and enjoy working with people from different nationalities? Then the following tasks await you:


  • Counseling, support, and activation of selfhelp skills for those affected
  • Daily support with providing information about life in Germany, including rights and responsibilities
  • Support and promotion of peaceful coexistence and conflict resolution
  • Assistance with administrative matters
  • Daily and leisure activities with consideration for pedagogical aspects
  • Collaboration with clients, volunteers, external service providers, associations, and organizations (networking)
Qualifications

Our requirements:

  • Completed degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in social work, social pedagogy, educational science, therapeutic/sports pedagogy, or a comparable field
  • Experience working with individuals from different cultural backgrounds, high social competence, and intercultural understanding
  • Assertiveness, conflict management skills, and ability to work independently
  • Good knowledge of German and at least one foreign language (e.g. English, French, Spanish, Arabic,
