Description

The primary role of a Guest Service Specialist is to deliver outstanding hospitality by offering swift, polite service to each Guest, distinguishing us from competitors. Alongside, as a Guest Service Specialist, you are also a sales representative. Thorough knowledge of the menu, along with sharp interpersonal skills, is crucial to ensure Guests feel valued, fostering repeat business for Big Boys Burgers and Shakes.

Guest Service Specialist Responsibilities:

Creates exceptional first impressions, setting the stage for each Guest's dining experience.
Delivers exceptional Guest service following a specific sequence of steps to ensure prompt, courteous service.
Possesses in-depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation to answer inquiries accurately and provide menu recommendations.
Leaves a lasting impression on Guests during payment transactions by expressing gratitude, ensuring their satisfaction, and encouraging their return.
Effectively promotes additional items to Guests at least twice during transactions.
Upholds safety and sanitation standards in the restaurant, maintaining a clean environment.
Presents a professional image by following uniform guidelines consistently.

Qualifications

Guest Service Specialist Job Skills:

Capable of standing for extended periods.
Capable of bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
Ability to perform under pressure.
Adequate strength and agility to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Proficient in reading, writing English, and accurately following recipes.
Dexterous with fingers, hands, wrists, and elbows.
Sharp hearing, visual, and English speaking abilities.
Skilled in working with a diverse range of foods and ingredients.
Strong memory, math, and organizational skills.
