In the district of Spree-Neiße/Wokrejs Sprjewja-Nysa, Department III, Department of Children, Youth and Family, a position as

Youth Work/Social Work Officer (m/f/d)

is to be filled as soon as possible for the duration of the temporary relocation of the incumbent.

The main tasks include the following activities:

  • Advice and support for independent providers of youth welfare services, municipalities in all phases of service provision, e.g. concept development, advice for applicants, participation in the conclusion of service agreements, on-site visits, preparation and conduct of evaluation discussions, determination of work priorities,
  • Initiation and support of individual projects,
  • Organization of further training/conferences/workshops for external professionals in youth work and youth social work in the district of Spree-Neiße,
  • Participation in the Youth Working Group as a spokesperson,
  • Promotion and support of working groups in the social areas of the district of Spree-Neiße and, if necessary, initiation and implementation of professional exchanges,
  • Participation in quality development, e.g. updating of quality standards, creation of a quality manual, management and implementation of processes and measures for quality assurance,
  • Advice for youth associations, organizations and initiatives,
  • Participation in the development of decision proposals and implementation of decisions of the Youth Welfare Committee.

The following requirements are expected:

  • Completed social pedagogical university education as a recognized diploma
