V. is here for people affected by HIV, with both paid and volunteer teams. We also provide information, counseling, assistance, and support for queer communities through various projects.

This leadership position plays a crucial role in addressing the challenges related to HIV/AIDS while ensuring that the needs and concerns of queer communities are adequately considered.

We invite dedicated professionals to join this important mission and make a positive impact on the lives of people in queer contexts.

Responsibilities include providing professional and personnel leadership for the Maincheck and its sub-projects, offering personal counseling for LGBTQ+ individuals (individually or in groups) on issues related to sexuality and identity in a psychosocial context (e.g.

coming out counseling), low-threshold testing counseling (HIV and infectious diseases), representing the department externally, particularly in professional committees and to supervisory authorities and funding agencies, budget responsibility, participating in AHF leadership team meetings, working across projects, reporting and documentation, committee work, and contributing to the development of AHF's services.

Qualifications include a degree in social work/social pedagogy (Dipl./BA/MA), at least 5 years of professional experience in psychosocial counseling, leadership experience, openness towards our target groups, teamwork and cooperation, independent and self-directed work, and a convincing and professional demeanor.
