    Description
    * $300 Full-Time New Hire Bonus *

    Creative Dining Services is currently looking for a Line Server at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

    Shift: Evening and weekends

    Essential Functions and Duties:
    • Serve meals to students and customers
    • Set up station prior to meal serving time
    • Set up condiments and other items appropriate for the meal
    • Make sure lines and pans are garnished as directed by management
    • Responsible for proper use of gloves, utensils, and portion size of each item, temperature of hot and cold food, and the attractive presentation of all food items
    • Communicate in a timely manner with the kitchen staff regarding the amount of food on hand and its quality
    • Break down, clean, and restock the service lines
    • Assist with general cleaning duties
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
    • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
    • Basic reading and math skills
    • Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) use by guests who typically visit the work location
