We need an experienced sales manager to own business development and partnerships in the retail and online marketplaces space. This person will be a seasoned eCommerce professional who will own sales and marketing strategies in key categories including online marketplaces and companies in the retail value chain including retailers, distributors, and manufacturers. This person will own identification of target partnerships, partnership development, and the driving of Pattern pipeline with these companies. This is a full-time role and will work from Lehi, UT.

Directly impact the growth of Pattern by identifying, establishing, and driving high-potential alliance partner relationships in the Retail and Marketplace categories
Grow existing alliances to create additional cross-selling and marketing opportunities
Drive the alliance sales process with numerous departments across the company
Collaborate across multiple departments at Pattern including brand management, sales, marketing, and advertising, to drive customer value with our partners
Analyze and report on partnership initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics
Manage complex contract and business negotiations and work with legal counsel as required
Continually analyze and surface partnership opportunities for Pattern
A Bachelors degree is required
3+ years of experience in eCommerce/Retail merchandising, sales, or business development
Proven track record of working to and exceeding sales or revenue goals
High-level communication skills and executive presence
Strong attention to detail and a bias for action
You meet or exceed a quarterly quota of qualified sales opportunities sourced through retail and marketplace partners
You become a trusted partner and advisor to leading retail companies in helping their audiences achieve eCommerce acceleration
You give 100% to all programs and projects in your care, taking full ownership of retail and marketing partnerships at Pattern
You will own sales and marketing relationships with some of the biggest players in the eCommerce and retail space, your impact and network growth in this space will be accelerated. As Pattern and the alliances organization grow, opportunities could arise for managing additional alliance programs and people.
You will work with the other full-time alliances and partnerships team members sitting on the revenue and sales team. You will also be mentored by the Head of Channel and Alliances and meet with them on a regular basis to discuss your performance. This team is data-driven and results-oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of the alliances, account executives, BDRs, RevOps, and marketing teams to drive pipeline through your owned partnerships.
