    Working across a full spectrum of manufacturing companies across the country, Shoemaker's team is highly-experienced in the reliable, safe, and efficient setting of large equipment.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team in our Akron, OH office in the role of Warehouse Manager.

    This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the shop operates both efficiently and safely by supervising, organizing, directing and training your team.

    You will be responsible for developing the warehouse systems and processes in consultation with Senior Management. You will oversee the day to day operations of the warehouse to ensure targes are met as well as managing workflow. You will prepare and revie documentation related to the preparation of jobs as well as longer-term goals such as annual planning and inventory requirements.

    To succeed in this role, you must be well-organized, able to manage both a team and a busy warehouse / shop. The ability to manage complex requirements to tight deadlines and prioritize and organize not just your own but your team's workload is essential. A high level of attention to detail, self-motivation and focus are needed.

    Normal working hours are Mon - Fri from 7 AM - to 3 PM. Due to the nature of our industry, a flexible approach to working hours and the possibility of some evening/weekend work may be required at times.
