- Provides excellent services to all guests
- Cashier guests' items as needed
- Assists guests with locating items on or off the sales floor
- Occasionally may demo Signature Items, Stock-Ups, Surprise Buys, Salads, Spreads, Cheese, Dips, etc.
- Assists Hot Bar associates with replenishing items and ensuring that a high standard of quality meal choices are provided at all times
- Addresses guest concerns and resolves issues by practicing the boomerang principal
- Maintain food safety logs
- Ensures all quality standards are being met, including quantity expectations at 100% by 10 am and 5 pm
- Other duties as assigned
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Requires proper training and knowledge of the following equipment/procedures: knives, baler, trash compactor, burner, and shams
- Ability to encourage guests in a sincere way to try a sample of one of our products
- Ability to understand cooking instructions and communicate to guests
- Stand in one place for a long period of time, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly
- Lifting up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis
