TEMPORARY CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
At National Van Lines we understand the stresses and worries of long-distance moving. We provide full-service moving, packing and storage services for all our residential or commercial long-distance moving clients. Our goal is to deliver 100% customer satisfaction in all we do.

Our
Customer Service Representatives serve as the primary point of contact to support customers throughout the entire relocation process. They handle and resolve customer questions and concerns. Customer service representatives can put themselves in our customers' shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Strong communication skills and data entry abilities are essential for this role.


Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Customer Service Team Member shall consist of but not be limited to the following**:

  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to customers.
  • Maintain customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.
  • Data entry and research as required to troubleshoot customer questions and concerns.
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Resolve service problems by clarifying the customer's concern; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem within the time limits; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Manage large amounts of incoming and outbound calls.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications, Requirements & Education

  • 1+ years of customer service experience in the moving or storage business ideal. 1+ years of customer service experience in an office or industrial environment required.
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Conflict Resolution Skills
  • Good Negotiation Skills and ability to think on your feet quickly
  • Problem Solving
  • Organizational Skills
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:30 to 5:00 pm, may change to 9:30 - 6:00 pm

Saturday (required rotating within department)

Summer - 2 Saturdays a month 8am-noon

Mid-May 2024 through at least end of August 2024

$18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
