    Job Description

    Due to continued growth, we are looking for an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer. The candidate will train under the current Engineering Vice President. Initial responsibilities include developing drawings, routings, and BOMs for custom products. Within 5 years, the successful candidate will transition to managing the engineering department.

    Responsibilities

    Create and detail drawings using Master Cam

    Create and maintain routings and bills of material

    Create work orders showing step-by-step manufacturing instructions

    Interface with customers, and interpret their needs into a product

    Interface with manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers to understand material and assembly cost

    Optimize designs to minimize cost

    Interface with sales team to help develop cost

    Become the go-to person to assist with questions from manufacturing

    Maintain/create standard processes for the Engineering department.

    Required Qualifications

    Mechanical aptitude, familiarity with tools and machinery

    Experience in designing CNC and welded components in a CAD system

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Able to solve problems in a team environment

    Self-starter with a willingness to learn and seek out information

    Ability to lead

    Strong sense of accountability with a can-do attitude

    Experience or training in LEAN manufacturing tools and process improvement

    Preferred Qualifications

    Associate degree or Trade school training in a technical discipline

    Experience working in the stainless steel, high-purity component market

    Experience designing machined and welded components.

    Able to create drawings in Master CAM


    Job Type:

    $50, $60,000.00 per year
