- Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Collaborates with BDI departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Coordinates employment ads and postings for their assigned restaurants, process and track incoming employment applications, sort by pre-selected criteria, and precisely follow procedures for distribution to supervisors. Coordinate interviews, as requested. Attend periodic hiring and career fairs.
- Assist new hires in accurately completing required onboarding tasks and accurately maintain all team member profiles electronically. Track and monitor outstanding documents. Periodically audit team member records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Positively represent the company to new hires, current team members, and business partners. Serve as a liaison to field team member comments, concerns, and complaints.
- Assist in the coordination of timely communication and enrollment in team member benefit programs.
- Assist with the termination and offboarding of team members to ensure compliance with final paycheck regulation and the completeness of the profile closure process.
- Be familiar with all company policies and procedures and assist other members of the People Operations department in training team members on same.
- Provide forms, policies, and reasonable assistance to supervisors.
- Assist with the employment verification for team members to third parties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Track incoming information regarding team member health and safety, including requests for leave of absence, team member injuries, medical certificates required for employment, and other required records.
- Compile employment information for reporting purposes to government agencies and insurance companies.
- Maintain current and available copies of company policies and procedures, team member handbooks, and job descriptions.
- Assists with company learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities. Assists training department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or officer of the company.
- May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of team members in the department.
- May assist with hiring, training, development of team members in the department.
- Supports, coaches, and provides constructive feedback to People Operations team members.
- Assists Director with all routine functions of People Operations for BDI, its Managers, Directors, and Officers.
- Fills in during meetings, events, and day to day interaction in the absence of the Director of People Operations.
- Associate degree in business, human resources, or a related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a human resources department or related experience, preferably in the greater Portland, OR area.
- Previous supervisory experience in human resources is preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification highly desired.
- A valid state-issued driver's license.

The People Operations Senior Coordinator plays an integral part of the staff of Beau Delicious International, LLC (BDI) by performing the day-to-day functions of the People Operations department as assigned for BDI and all company owned restaurants, including hiring and onboarding, terminations, performance management, benefit administration, and compliance.
