Smart Host is a young B2B travel tech start-up based in Castaic, CA. We have developed the world's most innovative CRM system for hotels, revolutionizing guest management.

Through data segmentation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and personalized communication, we help hotels better understand their guests.

With Smart Host, hotels can automate and personalize communication with guests before and after their stay, send intelligent newsletter marketing campaigns, and create beautiful offer websites to inspire their guests.

As we continue to expand and enter new markets, we are looking to strengthen our team


Responsibilities:

  • You will handle the preparatory accounting and act as the main contact for our external tax consultant/accounting.
  • You will process payments and monitor our financial transactions.
  • You will be responsible for invoicing and maintaining related master data.
  • You will review and approve expense and travel cost reports.
  • You will oversee internal office organization.
  • You will support our CEO in scheduling and preparing meetings (coordinating appointments, communication, presentations, etc.).
  • You will handle travel planning and booking for management.
  • You will be the first point of contact for our international team.
  • You will ensure the wellbeing of your colleagues and maintain a positive work environment.
  • You will assist in planning and implementing team events.

Qualifications:

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or have a comparable degree.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in operational finance or a related field.
  • You are proficient in Excel
