    Position Overview

    We are seeking

    strategic and hands-on

    Chief Data Officer (CDO) to lead our data architecture and data management initiatives.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing firm-wide data management strategy including Data Governance, Architecture, and Analytics in the Financial Services industry, and preferably in Investment Management.

    As a CDO, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection, storage, management, quality, access and protection of data across the organization.


    Key Responsibilities:
    ·

    Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy for the Firm that aligns with the CA's business model and priorities.

    ·

    Lead the design and implementation of robust data architecture and infrastructure to support the sourcing, validation, storage, access, and analysis of critical datasets including Investment Performance, Regulatory, Client, Portfolio, Security and Holding

    ·

    Oversee analysis, selection and implementation of a comprehensive Data Warehouse and Master Data Management solutions.

    ·

    Develop Data Operations processes and organizational design to ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data management practices.

    ·

    Drive the rollout of formal data governance practices and policies including Data Ownership, Flows, Representations, Security, etc. Establish and lead Data Governance committee.

    ·

    Implement formal Data Quality framework, - track data errors, implement data quality tools and processes.

    ·

    Work closely with Business stakeholders to identify, review and address data related gaps and risks.

    ·

    Lead, mentor and develop a team of data professionals.

    ·

    Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to data management and privacy.


    Qualifications:
    ·

    Minimum 15 years of experience in data management; preferably with an investment management firm

    ·


    Extensive hands-on experience with data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing and the use of data management platforms and tools is required.

    ·

    Strong leadership and C-Suite/Board communication skills

    ·

    Experience in leading major information management programs in key business areas

    ·

    Experience in operationalizing data governance and data quality

    ·

    Familiarity with the major big data solutions and products available in the market

    ·

    Knowledge about building and supporting data teams across the organization.

    ·

    Demonstrated analytical skills; strong written and oral communication skills.

    ·

    Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the financial services industry.

    ·

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. MBA preferred.
