$188099.A nationally ranked academic Department of Pediatrics is seeking an exceptional leader experienced in clinical operations to develop, lead, and grow the clinical efforts, medical education, and scholarship within the Section Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology. The successful candidate will have experience working within an academic environment, the ability to work independently with expertise and the desire to develop and build a program with full Department and Institutional support. We are seeking a clinically focused rising leader committed to excellence in clinical patient care, medical education, administration, and scholarship. The incoming Section Chief and Endowed Chair will oversee, lead, and manage the development and expansion of all aspects and missions in the only Pediatric Rheumatology Program in the state. The incoming Section Chief will oversee, lead, and manage the development and expansion of all aspects and missions related to the Section of Pediatric Rheumatology. As the only pediatric rheumatology program serving the patients in the state, the Section provides diagnosis and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with rheumatologic disorder including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, hypermobility syndromes, fibromyalgia, reactive arthritis, spondylitis, scleroderma, psoriatic and inflammatory bowel disease related arthritis to pediatric patients from all across the state as well as surrounding states in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
