    Career Opportunity: Sales Executive with FORCAM – Remote Opportunity

    Are you an expert at selling software to manufacturing companies? Do you possess knowledge of manufacturing, production, and shop floor operations?     Fully Remote – Ideally located in the Chicago, IL area

    FORCAM is a prominent Industrial IoT solution provider for discrete manufacturing sectors. Our acclaimed product suite, FORCAM FORCE™, streamlines all manufacturing processes - from the Top to the Shop floor and throughout global supply chains and organizations to create a seamless factory environment. Our clients benefit from rapid software implementations and enhanced productivity of over 10% within three months of adopting our solutions, essential for maintaining competitiveness in a challenging market.

    We are in search of a Sales Executive to concentrate on the discrete manufacturing sector. As part of this role, you will be responsible for promoting FORCAM's top-tier MES Software to both existing and new clients within your designated region. Ideally, we prefer candidates residing in the Chicago, IL area.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate pre-existing leads and new prospects, arrange sales meetings and establish connections across all levels of the organization (from shop floor to top management) to identify opportunities and close sales.
    • Assess the value of trials and convey potential ROI to decision-makers, aiming to secure agreements for continued product utilization, faster implementations (across all sites, globally), and successful deals.
    • Keep track of prospecting and sales activities using a CRM system.
    • Collaborate with the sales team in formulating and evaluating long-term strategic schemes; contribute to projecting budgets, revenue targets, and profitability goals for both personal and team development.
    • Forge partnerships with local business entities, trade groups, and other external organizations to promote the adoption and implementation of Advanced Shop Floor Management (MES) software.
    • Stay informed about emerging market trends and the specific demands of manufacturing enterprises.

    The ideal candidate will be dynamic, methodical, proactive, and posses:

    • Bachelor's Degree – preferably in an engineering-related field
    • 5 to 10 years of experience in professional B2B IOT Software Sales
    • Prior experience in sales within the manufacturing industry is essential
    • Detailed knowledge and a background in target markets such as Aerospace, Automotive, General Manufacturing, and Medical Devices
    • Comprehensive understanding of industrial production processes
    • Proven capability in conducting high-level executive meetings and delivering effective product demos
    • Demonstrated expertise in quantifying financial ROI from product implementations/utilization
    • Sense of urgency and proactive mindset
    • Willingness to travel moderately, around 25% to 30% of the time, including quarterly assemblies in Cincinnati, OH along with occasional trips to Germany
    • Valid passport or the ability to secure one as needed
