    Cross Financial is a professional tax and consulting firm offering a wide range of services in the areas of taxation, business consulting, accounting, business valuation, and financial planning services.

    Job Summary: We're growing We are looking for experienced tax professionals to join our amazing team. We offer tremendous growth and development opportunities, flexible work schedules and a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.

    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of income tax returns for C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, trusts, non-profits, and individuals. Experience with complex returns for businesses and high net worth individuals is preferred
    • Tax planning and research
    • Assist with IRS and state tax audits

    Basic Qualifications/Education:

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience working at a public accounting firm in the tax department, preferably with specific experience working on business returns and high net worth clients with groups of returns.
    • Bachelors degree
    • EA or CPA preferred
    • Candidate must be effective at both written and verbal communication, with the ability to pursue self-development and excel within our team approach
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Prior experience with research tools beneficial: RIA, BNA, etc.
    • Prior experience with paperless workflow systems is ideal
    • Experience with CS Professional Suite preferred: UltraTax, Accounting CS/Workpapers CS, Practice CS, Fixed Assets CS
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and time management skills
    • Great positive teamwork attitude
