    We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our International Tax Team.

    In this role, you should be able to lead or manage the people who support you and the engagements you own.

    You can juggle multiple projects to a high degree of efficiency and demonstrate advanced technical skills in various tax and accounting areas.

    You'll help business leaders look around corners, go beyond the numbers, and do something different by developing rapport with clients and making a difference.

    What you'll be doing
    Researching and analyzing international tax provisions affecting corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
    International tax structuring for our clients as they expand their business across borders.
    Responding to inquiries from taxing authorities.
    Work collaboratively with all levels of staff on client engagements.
    Plan, supervise and complete complex engagements.
    Supervise staff on multiple engagements simultaneously and evaluate their progress.
    Train and mentor staff and senior accountants.
    Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to clients.

    Maintain knowledge of general economic and political trends of possible tax or other legislation that could affect the international business climate.

    Have an innate curiosity about tax code sections, case law, and its application to businesses.
    Possess strong technical taxation skills and the ability to form strong client relationships.

    Requirements:
    What makes you a fit
    Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or a similar discipline.
    Certified public accountant.

    5 or more years' experience in tax, preferably with at least 2 working with international tax in a national or Big 4 firm.

    Experience with inbound and outbound US international taxation, including reporting for international subsidiaries or companies.
    Familiarity with structuring international M&A transactions.
    Knowledge and/or experience with all or some of the following:

    • Forms 5471, 5472 and 8858
    • FDAP withholding, including Forms 1042 and 1042 S
    • Global Intangible Low Taxed Income (GILTI)
    • Foreign Derived Intangible Income (FDII)
    • Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act (FIRPTA)
    • Foreign tax credits
    Strong leadership and organization skills required for multiple engagements.
    Ability to conduct research on tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies.
    Strong written and verbal communications skills.

    A passionate drive to exceed clients' service expectations and a drive to build trust with clients by developing relationships through in-person meetings, phone calls, and prompt responses to their requests.

    Ability to give and receive both positive and constructive feedback.
    Strong attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills.
    Proficient in MS Office technology suite.
