    ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL REPORTING AT GLOBAL FINTECH FIRM

    Base Salary is $110K to $150K (based upon candidate and experience)

    Discretionary Year-end Bonus; and Excellent Benefits

    Solidly established Global FinTech Firm is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join its Financial Reporting Group as an Associate. In this role as a part of a highly skilled team, you will handle the firm's Investor and Legal Entity Financial Reporting for its hedge fund and private fund vehicles.

    We work in a hybrid model where employees are in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
    • CPA is beneficial, but not required.
    • Two to Four (2-4) years of experience in Public Accounting or an Accounting or Reporting Function at a hedge fund, investment manager, or other financial services firm, is required.
    • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, an analytical approach to problem solving, and a rigorous work ethic are essential.
    • Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized individuals with an aptitude for accounting and a facility with numbers will excel in this role.
    RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW

    You will prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, conduct account and performance analyses, and handle investor, management, and regulatory reporting for multiple legal entities in global capital markets. You may also work on special projects such as launching new fund vehicles, conducting historical analyses, fielding bespoke requests from senior management across various internal groups, and working with our software developers to improve and re-engineer existing processes. You will have the opportunity to gain a macro view of the firm's financial activities and learn about complex fund structures and transactions. You will enjoy substantial interaction with other internal departments, including Investor Relations, Management Reporting, Management Company Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal & Compliance, and Software Development Groups.
