    Description

    We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Support Specialist to join our team. This role offers a full-time opportunity to contribute to our dynamic legal teams, providing comprehensive support and playing a key role in our operations.

    Position Summary: The Legal Support Specialist will be responsible for managing legal documentation and providing extensive administrative support to our legal teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and organize legal client files, both in paper and electronic formats, including updating binders and filing documents.
    • Coordinate the transfer of incoming and outgoing files, including management of off-site storage.
    • Assist in maintaining digital workspaces and managing email correspondence for attorneys.
    • Handle multiple phone lines, conveying messages accurately and answering routine queries.
    • Provide support in drafting, typing, scanning, and photocopying legal documents.
    • Manage time entries, calendar schedules, and prepare reports and agendas for multiple attorneys.
    • Offer backup support to other Legal Support Specialists and participate in additional department activities as needed.

    • Highly analytical and problem-solving mindset with strong follow-up and initiative-taking capabilities.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively and building rapport with team members.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of quickly adapting to new software.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of five years of experience as a legal secretary in a business law environment.
    • Familiarity with public finance practice, its clientele, and related resources.
    • College degree or equivalent educational background.
