Description

Are you someone looking to advance their career as a maintenance technician? Look no further We are currently hiring an experienced maintenance technician to join our team in Chesapeake/Suffolk, VA. Someone with knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment will succeed in this role. Knowledge of PLC systems is a plus. This position pays $60,000 - $70,000/year. Responsibilities

Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic blueprints, drawings and documentation
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic maintenance and equipment integration
Uses knowledge of PLC to perform programming functions as required
Performs preventive maintenance to maintain equipment within manufacturer specifications
To work with various Maintenance Team Leaders and Engineers to integrate auxiliary equipment with other machinery and to help in other areas as needed
