The Saxon Inland Ports Oberelbe GmbH (SBO) is a handling and logistics company with a wide range of services. The SBO group operates 7 inland ports.

We are currently looking for a full-time permanent position at our locations in Dresden for a

PORT WORKER/ FORKLIFT DRIVER (M/F/D)


Your tasks:

  • Loading, unloading and securing of goods from and to all modes of transport in accordance with relevant loading and unloading regulations, warehouse work
  • Operating and driving handling equipment such as cranes, heavy equipment and forklifts
  • Shunting/placing of transport units
  • Checking and processing of transport/transport accompanying documents as well as loading documents
  • Creating defect or damage reports
  • Maintenance, repair, maintenance and other work

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed training in a manual/technical profession, e.g. warehouse specialist or a comparable qualification with professional experience
  • Valid class C driver's license, forklift license would be an advantage
  • Reliable, careful and independent work
  • Good teamwork, quick comprehension and high flexibility
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Suitability according to ArbMedVV
  • Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form
