- Manage and supervise a global accounting team for all general ledger functions.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements, reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts and supplemental schedules to Income Statement accounts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and tax filings.
- Oversee the accumulation of information needed by Finance to monitor cash flow, prepare cash forecasts.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA certification preferred.
- Seven+ years of accounting experience in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and ASC 606 Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel
