- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of behavior support strategies
- Provide ongoing training and support to teachers and parents on behavior management techniques
- Analyze data and make adjustments to behavior support plans as needed
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to students
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Connecticut State Licensed Behavior Analyst
- Experience working as a BCBA in the school setting for at least 2 years
- Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Comfortable with technology and remote communication tools
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the special education process
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
- Experience with remote or online learning environments
