Job Summary
Essential Functions
- Conduct and/or analyze experiments in line with the overall research goals of the lab and funded projects.
- Prepare scientific reports and drafts of manuscripts (papers / grants).
- Help develop new techniques.
- Support training of new students or junior trainees in basic lab techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Biological Sciences / Neuroscience.
- Minimum of 3 years' postdoctoral experience in a neurobiology or translational neuroscience setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Time management and organization skills.
- Highest work ethic standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Selflearner and motivated.
- Strong quantitative abilities.
- Proven success working independently or as a member of a team.
- Experience working with rodent animal models.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture.
- Goaloriented and attention to details.
Physical Requirements
- Typically sitting at a desk/table.
- Typically standing, walking.
- Lifting Demands <25lbs.
- Typically bending, crouching, stooping.
