- Managing and directing operations team to achieve business targets
- Ensuring team follows standard operating procedures for all operational functions
- Assisting in employee appraisals, promotions, compensation, and termination based on the performance review
- Maintaining accurate and clear documentation for operational procedures and activities
- Working in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Conducting performance reviews and provides performance feedback to staff
- Assisting in interviewing, recruiting, and training candidates
- Preparing and maintaining annual budget
- Mentoring and developing associates
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in distribution, warehousing and/or logistics
- 3-5 years of leadership/supervisory experience
- Proficiency in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Ability to evaluate plan effectiveness against stated objectives and produce countermeasures when tactics are not achieving desired results.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at multiple levels (associates, management team, business partners and Senior and Executive Management)
- Ability to recognize and develop talent
- Provide outstanding customer services and ensure customer satisfaction
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices with team members.
- Prepare Budgets and Manage expenses within set operating budget
- Oversee daily operations of team members and aid whenever needed.

These areas include inbound and outbound operations, inventory management and operating budget.

This role is also responsible for setting ambitious but realistic goals for the team for the purpose of improving overall performance.
