We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our family operated business here at our NEW Garden Center This is a dynamic and fast-paced position that requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Overseeing the daily operations of our Garden Center including opening/closing of center, inventory management, sales, maintenance of plant material plus more
• Supervising Garden Center Employees hiring, training, coaching & scheduling
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Order and reserve plants & goods for Garden Center
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on plant care & maintenance
• Assist customers in selecting plants, flowers & garden supplies
• Overseeing the watering, pruning and maintain plants to ensure their health & appearance
• Stay up to date with industry trends and new products
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• 5 years experience in horticultural knowledge & working in large Garden Center
• Extensive knowledge in perinnals & annuals
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong organizational skills to keep track of inventory & maintain an orderly Garden Center
• Strong ability to multitask & work quickly but efficiently
• Excellent communication & customer service skills with the ability to provide expert advice to customers
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Ability to lift heavy plants, walk and stand for long periods of time and work in various weather conditions
• Experience in POS systems, cash handling & operating a register
• Background in landscaping is nice to have, but not required
