    Description
    One of our esteemed clients is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

    As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our finance team, ensuring the integrity of our financial records and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

    This position is critical to our organization, requiring a blend of accounting expertise, industry knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.


    Responsibilities:
    Manage and oversee all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.
    Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making.
    Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
    Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
    Lead budget forecasting and cost management initiatives.
    Optimize financial operations and recommend improvements.
    Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    CPA certification preferred.
    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
    Experience in an ex-firm environment is highly desirable.
    Knowledge of mining operations, construction, or start-up experience is a plus.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
