- Corporate Representation: Provide legal counsel to the President/CEO and Board of Directors on various legal matters impacting TCB's corporate structure, financing relationships, and compliance needs.
- Transactional Practice: Oversee legal matters related to property acquisition, development, financing, and compliance of residential and commercial properties.
- Funding Program Counsel: Offer legal advice on grant and funding programs that TCB participates in, ensuring proper due diligence and compliance.
- Compliance and Management: Advise on regulatory compliance and legal aspects of managing housing communities and services for residents.
- Legislative and Policy Matters: Engage in legislative activities and contribute to policy matters within the industry.
- Department Administration: Manage the Legal Department, including staff supervision, procedural development, and budget management.
- 10-15 years of relevant professional experience in corporate and transactional law.
- Strong background in affordable housing, community development finance, real estate, nonprofit organizations, and employment law.
- Admission to the state bar (Massachusetts preferred).
- Proven track record in policy development and organizational excellence.

Job Title: General Counsel at The Community Builders (TCB)
