- Assist with routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure property integrity and functionality.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor
- Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and other maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in property maintenance
- Follow safety regulations, building codes, and company policies to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring they are properly stored and accounted for
- Respond to maintenance emergencies promptly, including after-hours and on-call responsibilities as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services
- Minimum of 1-2 years of property maintenance experience or relevant technical experience.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and residents.
- Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate problem-solving skills in addressing maintenance issues.
- Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role is beneficial.
- Successful completion of background and drug screenings
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) or HVAC certification are advantageous but not required.
