Position Title:
Maintenance Technician

Wage: $ $30.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential

Shift:
3rd (Training on 1st Shift for 3 Months)

Hours:
8:10pm – 6:30am (Training – 8:00am – 4:30pm)

Maintenance Technician responsibilities include:

Efficiently perform production assets preventive maintenance duties
Perform necessary repairs of production assets
Participate in continuous quality improvement projects
Read and understand manuals, technical drawings and schematics
Assist with proper documentation of parts inventory
Move equipment and supplies where needed
Perform facility maintenance as needed
Understand how to set up and run production assets
Operate maintenance computer system for time entry and work order generation
Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues

Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:

At least 5 years related experience in a maintenance and repair role
Experience using lathes, grinders, gear hobs and other machine shop equipment
Experience using forklifts, scissor lifts, floor scrubbers and pallet jacks to move equipment and supplies
Experience working in or knowledge of paper/flexography industry highly desired
Strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Good communication, teamworking and collaborative abilities
