**Safety Manager**
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** The Safety Manager to lead safety and training initiatives for all on-site customer yard operations, including spotting and scale house teams.
Ensure compliance and adherence to customer policies and practice
Manage customer compliance portal and maintain compliance
Coordinate Job Safety Analysis (JSA) on job functions of drivers and yard staff
Develop and implement injury prevention programs
Conduct Job Safety Observations (JSO) on drivers and yard staff on all shifts
Develop and implement quarterly safety training sessions
Report, investigate and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on accidents and incidents
Train drivers and yard staff on all safety-related education
Other duties as assigned
?**Qualification Requirements:**
6-12 months of previous experience in the transportation industry required
A high school diploma or GED required
Class A CDL and Medical Card preferred
Basic computer skills needed
Experience in stand up training techniques or OTR Driving experience preferred
