The Role

The Senior Lead Product Manager will be at the forefront of managing and enhancing the ADAPT functionality within our Legacy CenturyLink systems and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation and improvements in operational cost savings and customer experience, ensuring that our services remain competitive and meet the evolving needs of our customers and business.

Location and Schedule

This is a Work From Home position in the United States.

The Main Responsibilities

• Matches product features & functionality with available resources within IT, Operations, and Technology, while balancing the market needs & expectations.
• Will guide and direct development experts within IT to ensure Product's requirements are met.
• Evaluate and scrutinize the project plan and all product specifications for accuracy, completeness, and achievability.
• Must be an expert in complex product design; must understand Lumen OSS, and must understand communications technologies.
• Team leader that can cast vision, illustrate tactics/strategy, and hold team members accountable.
• Must be a corporate spokesperson, sales support expert, and teacher to our junior and senior product managers across all VPs and extending to other business units.
• Lead the product management team in the development and execution of strategies for ADAPT functionality within Legacy CenturyLink systems.
• Drive the transformation of tools, systems, and processes through innovation, particularly in the Repair and Dispatch space.
• Oversee the integration of ADAPT functionality with other key systems and processes, ensuring seamless operation and user experience.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
• Manage the transition and exit strategies for Plume and McAfee services, ensuring minimal disruption to customers and alignment with overall product direction.
  

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 10+ years related experience
• 8+ years w/Master's degree or equivalent and relevant work experience preferred.
• Able to deconstruct a problem, understand root cause(s), identify, and explore solutions, and develop a recommendation.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and oral, across all levels of the organization (executive to manager, multiple functions)
• High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects at once.
• Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Evidence of demonstrated success managing multiple projects autonomously, collaborating with technical and non-technical teams, presenting, and communicating directly with senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully influence and drive stakeholders to decision without formal authority.
• Extensive process improvement experience that can drive business and technology transformation.
• Ability to present complex results in a clear, concise, and enticing manner that encourages action.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$ $148630 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$ $156450 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$ $164280 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$ $172100 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
