    Private Equity Vice President About Soul Equity Solutions Soul Equity is a retained Executive Search firm, dedicated exclusively to guiding Middle Market Private Equity Firms and their Portfolio Companies to best-in-class talent. We work exclusively with Middle Market Private Equity firms to grow their internal teams and transform their portfolio companies. Our boutique recruiting experience is highly bespoke and curated to our clients' needs. About the Role This Vice President role is on the deal team of this highly regarded mid-market PE firm located in the heart of Boston . One of their largest LPs is the Harvard Endowment . Due to a new $1B fundraise, they are growing and seeking to hire both a Principal and a VP. Private Equity Firm Details:
    • Raising 3rd fund with goal of $1B
    • Outstanding & diverse culture, highly collaborative, tremendous growth opportunity
    • 11 active national and international platforms in the US and S. America
    • Average investment $100M-$200M
    • Deal team is 15 people, firm total 30
    Key Responsibilities The Vice President will join senior investment professionals in investment sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management functions of the firm. Specific responsibilities include:
    • Financial analysis - Create financial models to analyze cash flows, investment returns, and enterprise values for new investment opportunities and existing portfolio companies
    • Investment approval materials - Prepare memos and other approval materials for the Investment Committee
    • Industry research - Conduct research on market size, growth prospects, demand drivers, key competitors, etc.
    • Third party diligence - Facilitate diligence activities with third-party partners (e.g., senior lenders, accountants, attorneys, IT consultants, strategy consultants)
    • Portfolio management - Assist with ongoing monitoring and ad hoc strategic projects for portfolio companies
    • Investor relations and fundraising - Compile financial reports and valuation estimates of current portfolio companies for current and potential investors
    • Marketing - Provide support and attend industry events, conferences, trade shows, etc.
    Professional Experience & Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or credit/lending, with lower middle-market experience a plus. They are seeking someone with significant deal execution experience . This firm owns several platforms in South America; therefore, fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable. Education An undergraduate degree is required. Relevant advanced degrees are a plus. Salary Salary is competitive, depending on experience. This firm is an equal opportunity employer.
