- Working in a team environment, with a specialty focus on supporting clinical applications including Mosaiq/Aria for Oncology, EEG Applications such as Natus XLtek, Nihon Kohden, Cadwell; Perinatal Apps like OBIX, ECG/EKG apps like GE Muse, Endoscopy apps like EndPRO and ProVation, among many others.
- Providing testing and user support during the application upgrade and implementation / go-live lifecycle.
- Running validation tests to ensure applications are ready for operational environments
- Interacting with / coordinating with clinical staff, IT Engineers, and vendors
- Provide Day to day assistance with clinical application issues - specifically investigating file issues, database issues, HL7 Interface issues, and more
- Escalating issues to the appropriate teams
- Aiding in formulating and documenting system specifications, and training materials
- Communicate with customers to understand their specific needs and challenges in utilizing these clinical applications
- Offer guidance and training to users on software functionalities, ensuring optimal utilization
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and FAQs, to assist users in resolving common issues
- Participate in testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of applications
- Required 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Clinical Software Applications - such as Natus Xltek, Nihon Kohden, Cadwell, OBIX, ProVation, Muse, Mosaiq, Aria, etc
- Required foundation in IT Infrastructure - Network, Server, PC Workstations, Operating Systems, Hardware
- Strong root cause investigation and troubleshooting experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical troubleshooting abilities
- The work location is primarily remote in the Los Angeles / Orange County area. Some onsite in Los Angeles may be required, on occasion, for important stages of the application implementation lifecycle (such as validation testing, go-live/cutovers, elbow support).

ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THE ROLE
Medix is currently seeking a Clinical Systems Administrator for a direct hire opportunity with one of our best Healthcare Clients in the Los Angeles Metro area. This individual will be joining a team supporting a portfolio of Clinical Software Applications Team used across Neurology, Surgery, Oncology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, etc.
Examples of clinical applications including Mosaiq/Aria for Oncology, EEG Applications such as Natus XLtek, Nihon Kohden, Cadwell; Perinatal Apps like OBIX, ECG/EKG apps like GE Muse, Endoscopy apps like EndPRO and ProVation, among many others.
The position requires a strong IT background in order to upgrade and support Clinical Applications in operations -- both an understanding of the clinical workflows and integrations, as well as an IT background to support the database, server, storage and endpoints / users.
