    Description

    Job Title: Linux/Windows Systems Administrator

    Location: Santa Monica, CA 90401

    Type: 100% onsite; Full Time

    Salary: $120,000 - $130,000

    Responsibilities:

    • Supporting Linux systems, including installation and maintenance of Red Hat Linux (RHEL 8).
    • Installing and maintaining Red Hat Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
    • Assisting with software and hardware installations for networked and stand-alone systems.
    • Providing network and system performance analysis, monitoring and reporting.
    • Diagnosing and troubleshooting network, hardware, and software problems.
    • Acting as an escalation resource for problem resolution, solving complex technical issues.
    • Completing systems and network service requests, ensuring customer satisfaction and network availability.
    • Implementing new technology initiatives and solutions.
    • Configuring and maintaining Active Directory settings including Group Policy Objects, DNS, DHCP, and Sites-Services.
    • Collaborating with Information Services groups and departments on infrastructure hardware and software systems.
    • Adhering to ITIL best practices and security regulations.
    • Preparing network, servers, and workstations for audits from regulatory agencies.

    Requirements:

    • Active Top Secret clearance.
    • Mid-to-Senior level skills in supporting Red Hat Linux and Windows environments.
    • Scripting in PowerShell and Bash.
    • Minimum 6 years' experience in Linux and Windows environments with security and compliance requirements.
    • Solid skills in DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP, server virtualization, and Active Directory.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Skills in supporting Windows Servers, VMWare, SAN & NAS storage.
    • High School diploma or GED required.
    • BA/BS degree preferred.
    • Minimum 6 years of Linux & Windows Administration experience.
