AVIM&O is a part of CVRC Columbia and works alongside other specialty services including Emergency and Critical Care, and Cardiology.
Our Internal Medicine and Oncology practice is growing and looking for a Practice Supervisor that will support this growth.At AVIM&O , we are proud to have an outstanding team of internal medicine and medical oncology specialists who dedicate their energies and combined knowledge to the care of their patients and support of their clients.
Our team embodies our core principles of commitment, compassion, and competence towards our patients, clients and our referring veterinary community.
It is our goal to function as an integrated, collaborative team while providing the very best care for each patient while balancing the needs and desires of our clients.
This is a daily in- hospital position managing and working alongside a team of technicians.Staff mentorship
Personnel scheduling, interviewing, hiring and training
Developing training schedules, planning and leading staff meetings
Complete incident reports and workers compensation claims
Conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews
Oversight of controlled substance inventory and logging
Inventory and equipment management
On the floor leadership to assist with daily practice flow
Attend CE to expand knowledge and service as a liaison for the AVIM&O team with referring veterinarians both in the hospital and from GP community
Regularly attend leadership meetings on behalf of staff, clients, and patients
Leadership will set a motivating example for staff members
Prior Clinical Veterinary and Management experience is required
Monday – Friday
On- Call rotation

Veterinary Experience - 3 yearsVeterinary Technician Credentials preferred
