    Join our dynamic team in beautiful South Austin, conveniently located on Hwy 290 West.

    Qualifications and Requirements:
    • A genuine passion for working with children.
    • An eagerness to inspire creativity, exploration, and decision-making in children.
    • Willingness to actively participate in all classroom activities.
    • Experience in maintaining an organized and clean classroom environment, both during and after activities.
    • A vibrant and positive demeanor, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
    • Commitment to professionalism, even in challenging situations.
    • Ability to create and maintain an engaging, clean, and interactive learning space.
    • Clean Criminal Background Check.
    • A natural affinity for the outdoors and a willingness to get hands-on and messy with kids.
    • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds.
    • Convenient access to commute to our location.
    • Prior experience in a licensed childcare setting is highly preferred.
    • Familiarity with STEAM, Waldorf, Reggio, or Montessori approaches is a definite advantage.
    • Interests in Gardening, Nature, Dancing, and Yoga are considered valuable assets.

    Compensation:
    We pride ourselves on offering competitive compensation that consistently exceeds industry rates. Full-time Assistant Teachers can expect HOURLY RATES STARTING AT $18, commensurate with experience and work schedule.

    Nature Preschool Center is dedicated to serving the South Austin and surrounding communities. We are here to give your little ones the best possible environment for their learning and fun. In Nature Preschool Center, children pursue their own interests at the pace of their choosing. Nature Preschool Center guides watch and provide guidance to steer and spawn interests on individual basis. Before they start any activity, children learn to prepare their environment. Our children work in multi-age group setting. Our multi-age grouping provides children with opportunities for broad social development. The younger children receive stimulation from the older children's activities. The older children, in turn, benefit from helping the younger ones. They develop confidence, while solidifying their own concepts/knowledge, by teaching younger children. Our school in many ways resembles a family.
