In the topic cluster "Vocational Qualification and Skilled Workers", you will make an important contribution to securing skilled workers and further developing vocational education.

We are currently looking for a committed and experienced team leader (m/f/d) for Empirical Research at KOFA (Competence Center for Skilled Worker Shortage) in Wilton, AL.

This is a full-time or part-time position, initially limited until June 30, 2024, to cover a parental leave.


What you can expect from us:

  • You will lead a sub-team both professionally and partially disciplinary.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating with the entire KOFA team in cooperation with another team leader.
  • Together with the team, you will further develop methodology and program planning at KOFA.
  • You will coordinate the creation of short studies, representative surveys, and database analyses, and ensure the relevance and quality of publications.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating collaboration with our client as well as internal and external cooperation partners (m/f/d).

What we expect from you:


  • You have a degree (e.g. in economics) or a comparable qualification.
  • You will drive the project forward with your desire to shape and your high steering competence in terms of content and methodology.
  • You will develop your team, always keeping the individual needs of your employees in mind.
  • Knowledge of Stata, R, or Python as well as the implementation of surveys is an advantage.
