    Job Overview

    Working closely with, and reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Operations Director is responsible for overseeing operational projects and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to track the accuracy, efficiency, and timeline management of all projects within the department. This position has a wide breadth of responsibilities and requires you to both plan and execute the work.

    As an overseer of operational projects, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of key initiatives. You will be at the forefront of project vision and will garner buy-in and make critical decisions that propel projects forward and ensure successful completion. Your ability to juggle competing priorities, maintain precision, allocate resources, and foster collaboration across the organization are key to success in this role. In addition, your excellent time management and strong business acumen will aid your ability to effectively optimize resources within a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

    About the Role

    • Develop and implement assigned project plans, including setting objectives, timelines, and allocating resources
    • Collaborate with team leaders across the business to ensure seamless execution and communication throughout the project lifecycle
    • Spearhead and conduct training for the operations team members on best practices for enhancing efficiencies in their role
    • Identify, create, and implement process improvement, streamlining workflows to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance
    • Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project success
    • Execute project timelines, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and regularly report on project status to the Vice President of Operations
    • Proactively assess operational processes, workflows, procedures, project performance, etc. And translates business needs into actionable project tasks.
    • Serve as point person to support all operational administration needs, including internal training.
    • Assist leadership with developing and monitoring Operations staff in ensure quality standards and best practices are being delivered
    • Support Operational management with a sense of urgency and approachability
    • Offer widespread support and complete ad-hoc projects to the VP of Operations when assigned

    What You Bring to the Team

    • Proven professional history of successful operational and project management within a luxury environment
    • Operational analysis experience and ability to translate business needs into actionable project tasks
    • Strong business acumen and understanding of how to navigate and drive outcomes within complex organizations
    • Experience managing small and large-scale projects with cross-functional teams and competing timelines
    • Strong leadership skills and capable of overseeing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
    • Expertise in creating, reporting, and analyzing performance metrics and operational data
    • Skilled at customizing content and providing tailored presentations and operational training to a variety of skill levels
    • Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
    • Proficiency in project management tools (Wrike preferred)
    • Advanced and highly skilled in all MS Office programs, including calendar
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Pay Transparency

    Targeted base compensation is $130,000 plus annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    Our Work Environment

    Our workplace is clean, orderly, appropriately lighted and ventilated with the proper safety compliance. Noise levels are considered low and daily physical activities are considered light: office work, seldom lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, or walking. Employees must have the stamina to work long hours if assigned. Hours and days of work may vary by position.
