JOB DESCRIPTION


For the area of the deanery districts, overall church communities and church communities of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria, including their institutions, services and foundations, the position of a Local Data Protection Officer (m/f/d) will be available from April 1, 2023, with a workload of 20 hours per week and based in Memmingen.


Tasks include advising and supporting the region of Allgäu, Upper Swabia, and Augsburg (104 church communities in the deaneries of Augsburg, Kempten, Memmingen, and Neu-Ulm) through personal appointments on site, by phone, or via email.

The place of work is the church community office in Memmingen.

Close cooperation with the church administrative offices in Augsburg, Kempten, and Neu-Ulm, the team of local data protection officers in the ELKB, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church Office is a prerequisite.

The professional supervision is the responsibility of the data protection officer of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria (Church Office Munich).

Your main tasks:

church institutions on all data protection issues,

  • Training and raising awareness among church employees on the careful handling of
personal data,
