About the company:

  • Our client is a German company that specializes in the development and implementation of digital health applications. They play an important role in the implementation of the digital health infrastructure in Germany, particularly in the area of electronic health cards and telematics infrastructure.

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsibility in collaboration with three colleagues in the accounting department (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and fixed assets)
  • Ensuring proper bookkeeping in accordance with HGB and statutes, as well as conducting quarterly and annual closing activities
  • Handling all tax matters, assisting with monthly VAT returns, and timely fulfillment of payment obligations
  • Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, tax lawyers, and other authorities, including corresponding correspondence management
  • Participation in internal projects and process optimization as part of digitalization
  • Supporting the implementation of an ERP system (Oracle NetSuite)

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a certified accountant or tax specialist
  • Professional experience in accounting, ideally in a mediumsized company or auditing firm
  • Experience with DATEV or a comparable accounting system
  • Structured and independent way of working
  • Interest in digital health applications and the healthcare industry is an advantage
